To clean the lace areas gently brush the swollen adhesive reside with a finger nail brush to loosen and break it free.

To clean the skin areas use a teaspoon to scrap any excess residue off with gentle, short vertical strokes.

After getting most of the excess residue off, put the hair system back into the container full of solvent for 2-4 more minutes.

Tip: Mirror slide is a very helpful tool for lace bases. Do not use it with poly/skin bases though, as the sliding can cause them to stretch.

STEP 4: RINSING THE HAIR SYSTEM

Take the system from the solvent and put it into the sink. Squirt a liberal amount of hand dish washing liquid onto the base while it is still dripping wet with solvent. Any remaining adhesive residue will have lost all tack.

Slowly and carefully glide the fingernails brush across the edge of the base and out through the air. All the remaining adhesive residue should slide off easily. After a few minutes of brushing, rinse your system with high pressure lukewarm water down through the base. Repeat this step a second time.

If there I still adhesive residue in the hair system, you may not soak it in the solvent long enough. You need to repeat the step 2.

STEP 5: SHAMPOO AND CONDITION

After rinsing thoroughly wash the hair system again and make sure that there is no residue, this time using a mild shampoo to balance the acid level and lastly condition.

Now, your hair system should be clean and clear of any adhesive residue. Wipe it with alcohol and you are now ready to reattach and begin to wear the fresh system.
